our first big cat craft enrichment was for the african lions birthdays! we celebrated it on super bowl sunday which was jahari's 7th birthday. we had missed amanzi's on jan 4th (13) and tunya's on jan 26th (13), and felt horrible, so we decided to make it a lion celebration! ... we made lion sized party favors and the keeper added a wrapped box, all which she filled with stuff that makes lion fun! ... the party favors were made by using mache paste, grocery bags pasted together and formed into a cylinder and then wrapped in party paper! ... pictured: their card on display, the party favors, tunya, amanzi, jahari, jahari
